PS: Matt didn't believe me about the temperature - he reckoned it was about 12 degrees - so I made him check his in-car thermometer...BMW says 6.5 degrees so it must be true ;-) Thats 42F for the Texans...(!)

Ye gods. I'd love a little (ok, a LOT) of rain and some cooler weather, but 42 in June? That's just crazy.
Besides, at those temps with a nice downpour, isn't that considered perfect hunting weather? (snicker)
LOL Jen - it WAS a trifle on the chilly side, but hey, waterproofs and thermals are for life not just for winter(!).
Better today - hail but some sun too (!) and only 7 weeks till hunting starts again... ;-)
