In the magic forest

There are 2 new arrivals at Rockley and as normal, they are being gradually introduced to the rest of the gang.  Bailey and Angel always get left till last, Angel because he is an inveterate instigator of much gallopping around and Bailey because she is a baggage.

Charlie and Felix, my good boys, are the first to meet new horses - Charlie is always friendly and encouraging and Felix provides calm leadership (as in - "feel free to trot round in circles - the rest of us will simply carry on eating haylage") but won't let new horses be too pushy either, which helps things settle down quickly.
Next step in the scheme of introductions is finding out more about Rockley - the fields and tracks or, as Flynn's owner calls it, "the magic forest"...

I've got to upload their hoof landing video and photos, but that will have to wait for another day!

Blimey. It must be a magic forest. He's looking better already, and a barefoot newbie of sub 24 hours too. Bless my big pony. Tell him that I'm looking forward to seeing him in 2 weeks time and taking him for his first, 20 mile shoeless hack on the moors. It's great to see what he is up to on the internet too. All I can say is, I hope beaver lodges have bleedin' wi-fi.

LOL! Have a good trip, and I will hope to have some good comparison pics for you when you get back, even if he's not quite up to a 20 mile hack ;-)
