Can't wait to read it! In the meantime, I have a question - I have a new mare who is recently (3 weeks or so) barefoot. She has horrible contracted heels and weak undeveloped frogs in front - where she was shod. Decent foot quality and straight hairlines. She has very narrow deep lateral sulci and also deep center sulk and cracks extending back to heel. She appears to have thrush in one foot - not terrible but there. Recommendations for effective thrush treatment? She's sound on pavement and hard ground, struggles on arena sand - probably due to pressure on heels and spreading of sulci and heel cracks.

Yep, thats my favourite at the moment :-)
How do you find a legitimate source for Manuka honey? Apparently the bulk of the product available on the market is fake as the production is very small.
