...and here ARE the labels!

Following on from "Read the label" a couple of days ago, we've started a thread on the UKNHCP forum listing the ingredients on feeds. The idea is to make the information more accessible, especially for those feeds where the companies are "shy" of setting out ingredients on the bag, or like to mystify us with smoke and mirrors...

Someone has also listed the "explanations" given by one company as to the sugar and starch levels in its feed, and its an interesting insight into the parallel universe that some feed companies seem to inhabit.

There are companies who seem to view sugar as being "safe" for laminitic horses; there are companies who seem to think its acceptable to market a basic feed supplement as some sort of veterinary pharmaceutical, and I am sure there will be more....
