Both Jacko and Ghost have come down with abscesses in the last day or so, which is very unusual, and I suspect that is down to the warm, wet weather as well - despite the fact that the horses are spending their days on the track, its wet out there too and even in the barn its constantly humid.
The only hope now that we are in September is that the weather changes for the better, as it has done the last couple of years, and we have a reasonably dry autumn...Watch this space...

Yes please, we'd like a dry Exmoor September too! Although at home we are already a bit dry and I could do with the winter fields recovering from the sheepies now, so send the rain to Warwickshire and we'll have a dry September in Exmoor. (Mum's down this week with G and co - so watch out hunting(!) and she says weather is supposed to be rubbish all week.... sorryyyyy!)
You're welcome to the rain - sending it up if poss :-) Tell your Mama not to trust the forecast, though - don't think they are getting it right more than once a week(!)
