New arrivals at Rockley

We had 2 new arrivals yesterday, Quin and Deluxe, who have come from Devon and Hertfordshire respectively.

I thought I would combine their initial posts as there are no comparisons yet so we'll start alphabetically with Deluxe who, as you can see, arrived in shoes.
Deluxe has the typical long toe and under-run heel which we associate with palmar hoof pain and on MRI he has been diagnosed with navicular damage bilaterally and slight collateral ligament damage.
These aren't terrible feet by any means but his RF looks worse than his LF, which is confirmed in the footage below as his toe first landing is worse on the RF.
You can never see a lot in a shod foot compared to a bare foot but it will be interesting to compare in a few weeks.
If anything this foot is less under-run and he is landing flatter on this foot.
Its still weak at the back, with a collapsed digital cushion - we would want to see that improve as his feet rebuild.

Next up is Quin,

Unlike Deluxe, Quin has been out of shoes since February and has already become more comfortable but like Deluxe he has been diagnosed with collateral ligament damage.

His feet are less under-run than Deluxe's, which is something we generally see with horses coming out of shoes and his frog is already better developed, so he has a bit of a head start.
He doesn't completely balanced, however, and like Deluxe his digital cushion is weak.

As ever, the footage of how he is landing is the most important and for Quin, as for Deluxe, he has a toe first landing, worse on his RF.

His landing behind is better, again as with Deluxe and in common with most horses; its relatively rare to see a horse landing toe first behind, although I've seen it once or twice and its usually the first thing to improve.

More on both boys in a couple of weeks' time, I hope.

I'm located in the states and wondering if there are any places like your rehab center in the U.S.? I haven't been able to find any so far. My horse has a collateral ligament injury and I am looking to do barefoot remediation.
