Barefoot on the rocks

I had a lot of fun taking photos of Bryan over the weekend...
...and while I had the chance to get my sticky little fingers on a super-duper camera I couldn't resist trying to get some close up photos of bare hooves going over stony terrain...
If you look closely at these pics you can see the flints flying as they are kicked up by his front feet...
...(there are at least 4 flying flints in this photo!)...

...and here comes Dexter (yup, his hoof capsule is still bizarre)...
Bailey...

...and Charlie...

"Barefoot on the Rocks" sounds like some new alcoholic beverage, lol!

Great pics! Did you have to give the camera back, or did you sneak it off with you?

Fantastic pics!

My horse grows a "wing" on his RF, sort of like Dexter does. My farrier always does his best to remove the flare and make the foot look all nice and neat. I assume from reading your blog that this is not the best thing to do. But how do I explain it to the farrier?

Jen, I had to give it back but now I am LUSTING for it :-)

Heila - if the horse is sound, don't worry. If the horse is less sound, thats how you explain it to the farrier(!).
