Dilly's turn today, and as with Oscar, the biggest difference in a short time is that the caudal hoof - particularly the frog and heels - is starting to become stronger.
This is her RF on the day she arrived - and as her footage from then shows, she is clearly landing toe first.
Less than 2 weeks later, and her frog is already playing a much greater part in supporting her limb and the heels are also becoming more robust.
This is not a question of trimming - I've deliberately not trimmed her feet at all, and you can see that she has relatively long hoof wall at the quarters still. But in the lower photo its much better than in the day one photo - and she has done that herself.

How often do you trim? Is the track enough to get most horses over the hump?
Wow, that is an impressive change in the frog! Go Dilly!
