Four years gone in a flash...

Our own horses don't often feature on the blog but over the summer you are likely to be seeing more of one of them at least - young Mr Bryher who is now 4 years old.
He's shown up on the blog before and 4 years ago he really was very cute but how time flies...
He's done lots of in-hand work, has travelled in the lorry and often goes out for walks with Andy and over the next few months we are going to be backing him - you can guess who has the dubious honour of being the first jockey...
So far so good, though, and I'll post our progress reports from time to time - wish us luck :-)

PS: At least Andy's worries that Bryher might not grow enough are unfounded...

Wow, what a powerful looking youngster, and such a lovely name. All my life I have wanted to name a foal Bryher, but none of mine suited it so it is lovely to see one that does! I always thought that if ever owned another racehorse yearling colt he would be called Brother, but sadly that is rather a bit dream nowadays ...

Good luck with him, he has had a great start to life.

I hate predictive text! I would never call a racehorse Brother!
