Normal blog service will resume shortly but for now its a manic few days fencing (again!) and resurfacing the arena not to mention a "horse changeover weekend" with Paddy going home and new boy Chester arriving...
Good job its the longest day - might just get everything done...
More soon!
Good luck with the fencing work! We are eventually going to replace all our (I can't wait) AND put in a small arena... you sure you don't want to come to my house when you're all done over there?
ReplyDeleteIf its sunny, count me in!
ReplyDeleteOoh, exciting, what surface are you going for????

Much as I love the present surface because it shows up lameness brilliantly, I've had to face the fact that after nearly 10 years it needs some help :-(
ReplyDeleteI've gone for rubber to top up as the base is perfect but the rubber will (I hope) give good protection when its freezing - its been a right pain not being able to use the school so many weeks the past few winters.
Fingers crossed - the stuff hasn't arrived yet(!)...
Good cost effective choice, your base is fine, just needs some more spring in its step :-)

Exactly :-) I looked at all sorts but most fibre additions are better when you have deep sand and need to be mixed in, which wouldn't have worked for us - plus didn't give such good protection against the cold. Here's hoping!
