If you've only been riding for a couple of weeks...

...why not go hunting? SB, my nephew, has been around horses since he was 5 and has spent many hours helping out in the barn but until last summer he hadn't been interested in riding.
He is a bit of a natural, I have to admit, but he only rode for a week in the summer so when he came back here for half term this is only in his second week of riding - ever. However on Wednesday morning (second day riding, second week) SB decided we might as well go hunting since the meet was only up the road :-)
Unfortunately we were fogged off, so we all kitted ourselves up in hi-viz and rode the 5 miles home - and no doubt SB will be out hunting again on Saturday!
The only problem is that he is growing so fast that though Felix was a perfect size in July, I think he will be hunting Charlie by Christmas...
