Weather...

They are moaning in Texas about the fact that its raining... truly - have a look at Jen's blog if you don't believe me :-)

Even worse, the temperature there has got down to only the mid 50s fahrenheit  (that's still in double figures when you convert it to celsius, folks).  So here is something for the Texans, those in Dubai, and anyone else who reads this blog from somewhere other than the west coast of the UK...

...and we are getting much better weather than lots of the UK (hard to believe, sometimes, but of course hail just bounces off)... Oh, what fun it is putting miles on hooves in December...

PS: They were lying about it not raining on Friday - what a surprise...

  1. You win! ;) On the other hand, I'm not sure this is a contest I'd WANT to win...

I know, how's about you come hunting with me this weekend? High of 50, maybe it'll rain and maybe it won't!

Funny how I'll do 50 and raining for hunting, and not for a dressage show. Hmmm....

  2. Ah, hunting is different, Jen, isn't it ;-) I'd be pretty happy with 50 degrees - but allegedly we are due sun tomorrow (don't hold your breath 'cos they've said thatodt days this week and it's hailed every day...). Hope you have a good day tomorrow!

  3. I love this weather and I LOVE the rain! We're in a drought! I just don't like it when it's freezing AND raining because then everything that isn't super-bundled up turns a lovely red-purple color and then I subsequently can't feel them. Fingers, face, sometimes toes.

You can keep your Exmoor weather. We're good.

  5. Snow here today. Lots of it. Had to take the pickup 4WD to go anywhere.
    Hunting cancelled.

  6. It's only been in the 40's here during the day in TX! And it's been in the 20's at night! I moved away from the Great White North so I could enjoy warmer weather in the winter and this is what I get!
