I took new footage of Oscar last week, but didn't manage to upload it till yesterday.
I am pleased to see on the video that his landing has improved and that he is beginning to land heel first in front although its still a tentative landing and he will need to develop a much more robust caudal hoof over the next few weeks.
He still struggles on hard, uneven surfaces - that's fair enough, and more or less what I expect from a horse who has only been here 6 weeks but now that he has changed from being unwilling to load the caudal hoof to being able to land more correctly, it means that he will become capable of much more work, which will help no end.
Oscar - updated footage at 6 weeks from Nic Barker on Vimeo.
