Solomon is going home in the next few days - Lucie will come down here on Sunday and he will have a day's hunting on Monday as his final blast on Exmoor :-)
Solomon is a proven hunter on his home territory, and he clearly loves hunting and hounds. Twice while he has been at Rockley the foxhounds have finished here and Solomon has leant over the gate chatting to the hunt horses and watching hounds in the barn and yard clearly wishing he could join in. We have the most beautiful weather at the moment and the meet on Monday is local to us so I am hoping and expecting that he and Lucie will have a very happy day.
Meanwhile, I took advantage of the break in the rain to grab some more foootage of him on a circle yesterday. I haven't been able to combine it with his December footage, but you can play them on after the other for comparison. December is here...

Personally, I think he is moving with more freely and with greater strength now, but tell me what you think :-) With the overwhelming excitement of having sun, not rain, this week, I couldn't resist adding some ELO to the footage(!)...
I am speechless :-o
ReplyDeleteI am still kicking myself so much for not taking footage of him on a circle when he was assessed before he came, people wouldnt believe it was the same horse.
He looks AMAZING on that LR :D :D
I never thought I would see him trot a circle like that again!! Cannot wait for the weekend to come :)
Well, if Kingsley ever gets to this stage I will be a very happy person!
ReplyDeleteSolomon's improvement is amazing - happy hunting!
